Obviously, by the date of my last blog entry, you can tell I’ve been absent from blogland for a long, long time. I’m really hoping to get things going again. I’ve been busy sewing the whole year long, taking pictures along the way. I think the best way to get things going again is to participate in the Sew Mama Sew Giveaway again this year. I loved being a participant last year and have been thinking about what I will contribute for a while now. I’ve been working on this little baby shoe pattern for a few months.  I had this great idea to digitize the pattern so that I could stitch the quilted parts in the hoop and make it look perfect. It has been way more complicated than I thought it would be. Although, when I finally got it the way I wanted it I thought I really made it more difficult than it should have been. That’s what learning is all about right? I’m hoping that I will have both a downloadable paper pattern and the embroidery file available in January. Please check back! In the mean time…enter to win a pair for the sweet little baby in your life. You can choose between the green/red pair or the red/cream/blue pair, size 0-3 mo.  Shipping to United States only please.  The deadline to enter is December 16th at 5 p.m. PST.  I’ll keep it simple. Just leave a comment and register as a follower on my blog. That’s it!! Good luck and head back over to Sew Mama Sew to check out all the other fun things offered as part of the Giveaway!

Digitizing the quilting! What a great idea!! My machine just uses a 4 x 4 hoop. Would this fit that hoop size?
