My 4 year old daughter asked Santa for a Baby Alive this year for Christmas. Have you seen that doll? It’s a little scary looking but it’s what she wants. I was looking at the accessories that you can buy to go with it and noticed they had a package of disposable diapers. What?! I didn’t even buy disposable diapers for my REAL babies! I’m sure not going to keep buying them for a doll. Fortunately, I have a lot of experience making diapers so making a doll version was a piece of cake. Here’s what I came up with:

A few day ago Sew Mama Sew announced they would be hosting a Giveaway. I am so excited to participate. I decided my doll diapers would be the perfect thing and may arrive just in time for Christmas gift giving.

If you would like to enter for a chance to win these diapers just comment on this post (please only comment once). You have from December 13-17 to enter by commenting. On December 18th we will randomly draw the winner and then I’m going to try my hardest to ship the same day so that you just might have a chance to receive your item in time for Christmas. (Please understand I have no control over the postal service.)

The diaper pictured (above) is on one of the smaller Baby Alive dolls. It’s a little big but works. I’ve since tried it on Baby Born and it fit perfectly, so it should fit a variety of dolls well.

The winner of the drawing will receive 3 diapers (with velcro closures)–two flannel and one that has a waterproof/PUL backing bound with fold-over elastic. Diapers sent will be chosen out of those pictured here.

Good Luck and Merry Christmas!

Yes! Please put me out of my misery and send those doll diapers! My granddaughter has used and reused the same now gray pampers for 18 months. I cringe when I see them but also cringe at the thought of buying new ones.

What a great idea. Our 2nd baby is arriving in 2011, and our first child has recently developed an interest in caring for her baby dolls. We cloth diaper, so this would make so much sense to her and be a great help in understanding more of the new routines she will be experiencing. Thanks!

I don’t have any children with dollies who I could gift this too, but…I was thinking that the local Neo-Natal ICU at the Children’s Hospital could use them for tiny preemie babies. If I won I would donate to them. They are so cute. Tina
